RePitch collects no personal data. It has no accounts, no ads, and sends nothing to any server.

The app

The tracks you import stay on your device, in the app’s private folder. Your tuning settings, playlists and library are stored on the device only. The app works without a connection and does not communicate with any RePitch server.

The microphone

The microphone is used only by the tuner, and only while the tuner is open. The sound is used to recognise the pitch of the note and is neither recorded nor saved. If you prefer not to grant access, every other feature remains available.

The settings backup

On request, the app can create a backup file with your tuning settings, playlists and track titles (never the audio). The file is created only when you ask for it, handed to the system share sheet and saved wherever you choose: RePitch does not send it anywhere.

Notifications and rating

On iPhone the app may schedule a weekly reminder, generated and shown by the device itself: it goes through no server and can be turned off in the iOS notification settings. The invitation to rate the app uses Apple’s or Google’s own review prompt: RePitch never learns whether, or what, you answered.

This website

This website uses no cookies, has no analytics tools, and loads no fonts or scripts from external services. The “Donate with PayPal” button opens a PayPal page: from that point on, PayPal’s privacy policy and terms apply. RePitch neither receives nor stores your payment details.
